"I was given this as a maternity present from work and I don't know what I would have done without it. My son has used it from week one, where he would lie and gaze up at the toys, and even now that he is six months, he plays and chews on the rattle-toys every day.
Amazingly, despite playing the music at least twice every single day, I am not tearing my hair out. The only negatives are that the mat itself is quite thin so you need to put it on a carpet or rug (I suppose this is so it can be put in the washing machine). Also, on mine, there's only two sound options (music and jungle sounds), despite having three switch points - as if there's one sound option missing.
Anyhow, I would urge you to buy this! It is worth every penny and all my friends wish they had purchased this over others."
"I don't actually own this gym as we bought the mamas and papas 'lotty' play gym. I really wish I'd have bought this one instead though. I've used my friends one and it is far better than the one we bought. It captures baby's attention for longer and the sounds it makes when baby taps the toys are very entertaining for them. The dangling toys can all be moved around and some of the holes in the frame are low down so that even young babies can reach them. Also the mat is quite flat which is by far better so that baby can practice rolling over (which she can't on the 'lotty' one as it's far too padded) I would definitely recommend this one over some of the other gyms I've used. "Our baby girl had this as an early christmas present and has used it from being about 6 weeks old. She loves the music and the lights and as she has gotten older, she is enjoying it even more. She is 5 months old now, still loves the gym just as much if not more. She has discovered all the toys, she loves the mirror and the soft jingly parrot/toucan. This is well worth the money! plus the music is quite catchy...i defy any parent whose child owns this not to be singing along within minutes!"
