Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo Reviews:
"Bought one of these last week for my 5 month old. (16lb) Wasn't happy about the price at the time but its worth every penny. He started off just playing with the spinning toys. Its taken him a week to figure out he can bounce in it and he now gleefully jumps up and down for up to an hour! It seems very safe - it has to be because he'd launch himself if he could - and the toys are enough to keep his interest. Tunes can get irritatng but has two volumes or you can turn sound off completely. It takes up a lot of floor space but our front room already looked like a kids playground so who cares. No idea how long the novelty will last, but its great to watch him bouncing and giggling away. Just to be able to get tasks done without worrying about what he's up to every minute makes it a godsend."
"My daughter loves this. We chose this as we have two dogs and did not think a door bouncer would be a good idea. This really grows with your baby and creates a safe environment for them to play and even gives you five minutes to do some chores, that is if you can stop yourself from watching your baby amuse themselves! Only down side it is expensive!"
"This is without a doubt the best thing we bought for our little boy. It is a little pricey but totally worth it. We put our son in it when he was nearly 3 months old which is a little young but he is big for his age and could hold his head up well by then - he loved it immediately although at first was just interested in the spinning toys and we had to put cushions underneath it for his feet as he was too small to reach the floor. By 4 months old he was jumping like a pro and still enjoying the toys - he is now 6 months old and it remains his favourite toy and will spend between 30 and 60 minutes in it at a time, and often up to 3 times a day! It is very sturdy and although it does take up a little space it is worth it as soon as the smile lights up his face once he's in there. would recommend this to anyone who has a baby, especially an active lively one."
"My 41/2 month little boy loves the jumperoo. We originally bought him a door bouncer but he kept nearly banging his head so we got the jumperoo instead. He loves the toys around the seat area and jumps safely to his hearts content. Only wish they did adult versions."
"Our daughter is now 8 months old and started playing with the Jumperoo when she was 5 months. She absolutely adores it and plays in it at least once per day for up to an hour - which is a Godsend!
She loves bouncing and beams happily whilst jumping, and the variation of toys keep her entertained as she spins 360.
Was unsure at first about buying it in view of the price - but is worth every single penny. Easily the best purchase made so far"
" bought the Rainforest Jumperoo for my 4 month old daughter after reading reviews of both it and the new 'Precious Planet' one from Fisher Price. I decided to go for this one as it matched the rainforest playmat I already had. I think the suitability is stated as 6 months+ but as my daughter was holding her head up well I thought it would probably be fine. She fits well in it and can reach all the different bits, however I do have to put a cushion or big book under her feet as she can't reach the floor.
Basically there is a 360 degree activity station with various spinning bits, lights, things to push etc and the baby can spin themselves round to the different areas of activity. My daughter hasn't quite got the hang of spinning herself round yet so I have to turn her when she is bored of each area! So far she seems to really love it, especially the spinning gecko and she starts smiling and laughing whenever the tunes and animal noises start playing. At the moment she seems to want quite a lot of attention so the jumperoo is great for me as I can get on with some other things while she is happily playing! "
